do you ever sit there and wonder what life must be like for people without anxiety
like they just
without worrying about them first
Anxiety is an excuse
i hope you walk barefoot on a world of legos for the rest of your life
The first time Tony Stark had an anxiety attack he thought he had been poisoned.
think about that
cause of death: post concert depression from a concert I didn't even go to
Slipping back into this numbness was so much easier than I thought it would be.
It’s like I never even left.
Me and my boyfriend x
this is beautiful, really.
This is not beautiful. The fact that two people who have been through so much are joined together and fighting side is beautiful (and if that’s what you’re talking to people then I agree) but self harm is not beautiful. Or pretty. Or romantic. Its an illness. Not something to be seen as “tragically beautiful” I just hate seeing it regarded as something trendy or romantic or lovely. Because it hurts and a hand to hold in a black and white picture with matching scars doesn’t make it hurt any less. And it doesn’t make it beautiful.
actually it is kinda beautiful.
its beautiful that they can accept each other and what they’ve been through even though they may not accept themselves.
so it is beautiful you’re just looking at it wrong.
The fact people self harm is not beautiful, is sad, but that person, along with a load of other people thay have reblogged their picture obviously mean the situation, rather than the picture itself is beautiful. It is beautiful that me and my boyfriend managed to find each other, knowing I never need to feel uncomfortable around him with my scars because he’s been there too and he has scars too! He never asks ‘why would you want to cut yourself, blah blah’ because he UNDERSTANDS.
Also, saying scars are beautiful doesn’t romanticize self harm, because scars can be beautiful, the way they create a story on one’s body, with such a deep element of sadness behind them.
You’re just looking at this picture, and other people comments in a simple minded way. Open yourself up and think about what they might be saying is beautiful, everyone has scars, even people that don’t self harm, and every single scar tells a story, whether it be messing with your friends and falling over, or trying to get yourself through one more night, keeping yourself alive by dragging that blade across your skin, every scar is beautiful.
